"Anastasia Peak" in the center distance from below Guilbeau Pass. We climbed this peak following the continental divide ridge from the pass. No evidence of a prior ascent was found (2017-06-19). Photo by Paul Michelson.

Alexei Peak

"Alexei Peak" is the name we gave this impressive looking peak with over 2500 ft of prominence located just south of Guilbeau Pass along the continental divide. Note also the interesting couloir in the foreground. We named this "Two Ocean Couloir" as dual streams flow from it; one west to the Hula Hula and the Artic Ocean and the other east to the Chandalar and Yukon and eventually to the Bering Sea.
