"Stonega 21 Benchmark" is an unusual rock formation on the Kentucky/Virginia State Line ridge (the Tennessee Valley Divide). It is located well-over a mile south of Highway #160 or a mile northeast of the Tri-County Point (Harlan, KY/Wise and Lee, VA), all on the same ridge line.
The short 50 yard long East-West rocky ridge, made-up of huge rough craggy/erratic rocks, is the only one of its kind in the area. The next similar formation, "Stonega 20 Benchmark", is found on the same ridge line a mile north of Highway #160,
