This peak, located right next to Bristol, VT, is one of Vermont's Fifty Finest peaks, due to its topographical prominence. There are a number of trails on the mountain, the easiest of which starts at the end of Mountain Terrace. The Nature Conservancy manages the land higher up on the mountain, but hiking is permitted year-round. The cliffs are climbed by rock climbers occasionally, but that area has been closed during certain times of year for peregrine falcon nesting.
