Now this area part of parking lot but was the peak in the state park boundary wholly contained with the most prominence. There are some potentially higher elevation in the state park along places where the private property boundary and the SP boundary come together such as John Doss mountain and Little Mountain that might be candidate spots for the highest elevation, although Taylor appears to be the only place where a contour interval exceeds the 1140 interval so it may be the SP HP as well.

Next nearest tallest neighbor is to the north called Stubblefield Mtn at a peak of 1160 barely topping Taylor but the only saddle route routes are the southern saddle at elevation 700 between between Hurricane Branch and King Hollow which is too circuitous to be the col for Stubbfield Mtn
or the Town Creek Branch to the north at elevation 595. One would have to hike around the eastern extent of Town Creek to find the next lower saddle below the 700 contour so I am hesitant to use as the col anything other than the direct line across the lake and have thus, used Town Creek Branch at the lake at water surface 595.
