According to Indiana Dunes State Park, this is the tallest remaining sand dune in the state of Indiana. Unfortunately, their map lists Mount Tom at just 192 feet (which I think must represent prominence above the lake). If so, the true elevation of Mount Tom is about 769 feet above sea level, which is supported by a 760+ contour which appears on the Topo map.

This cluster of three 750+ ft dunes are known as the Tremonts, and there is a steep 1.5+ mile trail that goes up and down all three.
