Field observations by visitors to this mountain indicate that the main point shown here is about 8 or 9 feet higher than the nearby Dunn Benchmark. So the elevation of the large contour to the east of the benchmark is shown as 9934 feet. The terrain is very gentle and most peakbaggers will visit both spots anyway.
With the right vehicle, one can drive a rough road right to the summit of this peak. It is the highest point in the Raft River Mountains and in Box Elder county.
