Another Subpeak with a nice tower for views. The easiest climb in the NP. Elevation established by USGS marker on top of Tower but inconsistant elevations in the park and USGS literature. Difference may be the USGS marker is on the top of a man-made tower not on the ground and I have seen both EL BM 941 meters (3,087) given and Elevation 3,075 (i presume the ground although i would guess the Tower floor is more than 12 feet above ground but not much more than that). I used the USGS BM which is on the rock tower since everybody climbs there for the overlook anyway. The saddle is poorly documented. It is above the ridge at 900 meters plus; but how much? I am using 2980 as best guess but could be off by as much as 20 feet. The feeling of isolation and prominence is from the views south, east, and west. The ridge to the north kills the actual prominence.
