The second peak in a long ridge, in the very front ranges of the CDN Rockies. This ridge displays a very steep, almost vertical wall on the eastern aspect, and more gradual but still rugged series of ribs and side ridges off to the west. Other sub-peaks in this limestone range include Door Jamb Mountain, Kidd Goat and several unnamed points. Official altitude is not precisely known - contours show it is close to 2150 m.
A logical climb is from the south, along the crest of the south ridge, while the direct face route is from the east and that is a seriosuly big wall, some 600 m+) Good stable rock throughout.
