This sun peak is an un-named feature on the USGS maps but bears an elevation. this interesting granitic feature is a popular day hike in Maine on the west side of the Big Moose Mountain Range and has a separate trail from that of the TH to the high point tower called the "Big Moose" which is 4 miles to the east in the same Mountain Range. The Col is the saddle to the east at below 2200 feet around 2180. This range has several sub peaks at similar elevations and saddles.TH is from the NW.
