DescriptionThis peak is along the state line and also a part of Carter County, Tennessee.
The original topo does not show a peak at Coltens Cliff, but North Carolina Phase 5 LiDAR data does show a clear rise above the surroundings on the ridge. This data suggests a high elevation of 6129 feet at N36.104571 W82.127055.
This peak's key col is on the ridge leading to Roan High Knob. Per LiDAR, the key col has an elevation of 6106 feet, which means that this peak has a prominence of roughly 23 feet. |
