DescriptionFrom Hoosier Pass hike up dirt road to the west thru picnic/camp spots. At tee, take dirt road to left which will follow ridge in westernly direction. In half mile or so road comes much closer to ridge line. Leave road and ascend to ridge top thru knee high brush and deer paths. A distinct trail can be found on ridge top that goes all the way to X12214 summit. There are intermediate high points along the way. Return same way or continue on trail until it disappears at moderately steep grassy slopes and descend them to road tee and shortly back to Hoosier Pass. One hour or so for round trip. |
