List Description

Don't like high altitude, glaciers, sheer cliffs, or long approaches? Then here is the mountaineering challenge for you! This list competes with the Bahamas Island High Points and Denmark Region High Points lists for the flattest, least mountainous list on this site.

Four of these "peaks" are large sand dunes on the North Sea coast. The others are various other minor prominences rising slightly above the notoriously flat Dutch countryside. Only in the far southeastern projection of the country, in the province of Limburg, do you find terrain that you even call "hilly".
