Ascent Trip Report

Coleman-Deming: started from Heliotrope TH at about 0130, made the summit at 0930. Put on crampons at the beginning of the glacier but didn’t rope up until we spotted some crevasses beginning to expose themselves. Hit a huge bottleneck going both ways at the Roman Wall, thought some of the precaution taken at that section was a bit much, it’s not an incredibly steep or disconcerting area. Oh well. Boot path heading up the glacier was nice, ice was in great condition early and made for soft descent back to the car as it heated up
