Ascent Trip ReportCleaning up some ME CoHP's and PP's. Have hiked Douglas several times but wasn't sure if it was "proper" winter so ran up in about 10 min., trail nicely packed but a little icey - spikes handy. Head over to Limerick to do Clark mt. and up the Quarry Rd to the Gate. fairly new looking wood road headed up to left of gate and not posted. Followed about 100yds and older road went right with tracks on it. went about .2 mi. and it started to turn to west so i put the shoes on headed off at about 45deg for the obvious notch behind the quarry and ended back on the road which had made a sharp right turn. came up to Quarry road just below Hosac access rd. up Hosac (set altimeter to 1320)and back down then to right past cabin "Milton" then to gate, hard left and easy whack to top. walked all the different bumps on top and got a consistent 1330 ft. sunny and warm.
