Ascent Trip Report

Started the hike at 8h00. Reached Scott's Clearing Lean-to around 9h40. We made it to Wallface Pond around 11h00. From there, we had to bushwack the last 1.5km to summit of MacNaughton. Once on top, at 2PM, we were looking for the sign to take a picture to prouve we made it, and Julien found it, almost by accident. It was a beautiful summer day but quite hot. I brought 3 liters of water and needed to filter a bit more on the way down. The group will remember this hike for a very long time. From my stand point, this hike was, by far, the hardest I ever completed in the Adirondacks,
