Ascent Trip ReportI think I took the long way. Started from the Trout Lake Highway and drove up S1700 to the gate. From there I walked up the road following an old route that I mapped to my gps. Some of the old roads are way over grown and there are some new roads. Going in I ended up bushwacking and heading directly for the lookout. On the way out I followed the roads around and added a few extra miles. The gps track is my return track along roads. As the road from the lookout heads north, there may be a better way in from the north.
