Ascent Trip Report

Unintentionally climbed Balsam Mt. just to the northwest on the way up after the terrain and pricker bushes steered me in that direction. Even found a cairn marking the summit. Had to push through some thick brush heading over to Sherrill, but did not have much trouble finding the canister. Took a more direct route to the south descending Sherrill after North Dome ascent and saved some time back to the parking area. Picked the wrong hike to break in a new pair of boots on-had a nice blister on right heel.
