Ascent Trip ReportWe summited Denali, via the classic Cassin Ridge on Saturday, June 9th, a week after we landed at base camp (June 2nd). We approached via the NE Fork (aka Valley of Death) and stashing our snowshoes at Camp 1. We spent about 6 days on route (one rest day) and Colin Haley passed us on his 8 hr jaunt (aka speed record) on Cassin.
We descended the West Buttress to Camp 1 on June 9th, and got stuck at base camp for a day, finally flying out on June 11th.
