Ascent Trip Report

New national park as of early 2018.
Renamed from Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, which seemed to be a sore subject for some of the rangers.

Two parts to park: the grounds immediately around the Arch and the Old Courthouse grounds 2 blocks to the west.
There is a hill west of the arch that seems to be high ground for that section but much of the area has under gone significant landscaping and construction so that may be artificial.
The Courthouse is up hill and if taken together as one park, contains the highest ground which is likely under the building
