Ascent Trip ReportThe road is snow free to the lower TH but watch for the many potholes. Snow started at ~3300 ft and turned into winter wonderland very quickly. There was a snow shoe track till the base of the chute after which we had to kick our own steps.
Conditions in the chute were not great. We had knee deep snow to negotiate all the way to the summit. Note that the high point you see from the top of the chute is the false summit. It took us 4.5 hours to make it to the top.
Going down was not any better since the snow was wet and heavy (we were post holing to our waist plunge stepping).
