Ascent of Mont du Four on 2018-04-15Date: | Sunday, April 15, 2018 | Ascent Type: | Successful Summit Attained | Peak: | Mont du Four | Location: | Canada-Québec | Elevation: | 3235 ft / 986 m |
Ascent Trip ReportI quite possibly covered 14 km in total today, no less than 12 km. Recorded GPS Track: (EXFIL Only) which shows return route from Mont du Four Sub-Peak, Southern Cliff overlooking Lac Ha Ha back to the Toyota Tacoma. I mention “Unmaintained Trail” however I maintained an approximately 80% bushwack route; I stumbled upon a herds resting grounds near the southern cliff and finally determined the route markers I’d occasionally cross were placed there by a hunter who was probably intoxicated, haha. I quit searching for any resemblance of a trail and forged out on my own immediately after reaching Mont du Four’s Summit. I was able to conduct reconnaissance on 3 new summits which haven’t been listed as summited on Peakbagger. |
