Ascent Trip Report

Drove down rough dirt road from Chihuahua Valley Road to PCT crossing and parked near a sign noting "State Park Property." The dirt road was not suitable for a 2WD sedan.

Hiked north along the PCT until passing the PCT high point just northeast of Combs Peak. The turnoff is marked by a dead standing tree. Followed the use trail to the summit, but there were places where various use trails crossed one another, making it somewhat difficult. The trail is steep. Once on the summit, enjoyed a break and signed the register. The views were nice. Descended along the same trail.
