Ascent Trip ReportThe 10 mile dirt road to the trailhead was okay. If it gets warm, I expect it will be mushy. Small parking area. Nicely maintained trail and tower. People obviously care for this place. Easy hike with very gentle elevation. I wore microspikes. There was a very narrow hard-packed trail. If you went off this trail, there was about 5-6 inches of hard snow with deep hard post holes that could easily have resulted in twisted ankles. Beautiful views from the tower.
