|Other People:||Solo Ascent|
|Date:||Saturday, February 17, 2018|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Motorized Transport to Trailhead:||Car|
|Peak:||San Gorgonio Mountain-Northwest Slope|
| Elevation:||11400 ft / 3474 m|
Ascent Trip ReportAfter Parking, I followed Mill Creek bed to reach Vivian Creek TH on my left.
I used crampons from High Creek Campsite to the saddle of Peak 10131 as the trail was fully covered with hard icy snow.
After climbed San Gorgonio, I climbed Peak 11490, then followed the NW ridge till the where the ridge splits, assumed I touched the drainage basin high point.
On descent I escorted another hiker (who was not comfortable with harden snow) to High Creek Campsite, otherwise I would have made it in 4.5h.
Once I reached Vivian Creek TH (in dark), I went across the creek bed to reach the forest road. There's a reflecting mark.
