Ascent Trip Report

We started at 9:30 AM (way too late) and practiced our navigation skills. We finally got the the peak at 2PM, decided to take a "unique" way back, and ended up with impassible boulders, ravines, and cliffs. Had to turn back, and navigated our way back to the main trail in the cold. So then we met a nice Sierra Club member to take us back 1.5 miles and give us a campsite. We were so grateful. We got back at 10PM with a good 12 hours of hiking.
