Ascent Trip ReportDid this for both the firetower winter rocker and to finish the winter Tupper Lake Triad. No snowshoes needed (only microspikes), although there was a group of about a dozen students with snowshoes, microspikes and one with skis, along with what appeared to be a teacher/guide. Mostly packed snow with about an inch or fresh snow. Some light snow falling. Several other parties on the trail as well. Overcast views from the tower. A couple of window hinges and locks in need of repair. Road and lot was plowed. |
