Ascent Trip ReportDPS/WTC trip led by Phil Bates and Rod Kieffer, 9 people total, 6 hrs. Gave two new leaders an opportunity to lead up and down. Fantastic views from summit including White, Whitney, Telescope, Charleston, many others. Took the east ridge route which is good use trail. There are several places to park for this hike. All of them work out. The further you go toward Beatty, the more elevation gain and distance you might cut off (to a point).
