|Date:||Saturday, January 13, 2018|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||3806 ft / 1160 m|
Ascent Trip ReportDPS/WTC trip led by Phil Bates and Rod Kieffer, 10 people total. Took a straighter shot up, staying 3rd class, then the usual route down. Lots of fun, beautiful views. Took our time with some newbies--6hrs. The Amargosa River was flowing above ground after the rains earlier in the week, but was easily crossed. Camped at the trailhead. Recommend gloves as the rock is pretty sharp!
