Ascent Trip ReportThis was the first time I had ever not finished a climb once started, however, it was the best choice. I was breaking the trail all the way up and just physically wasn't prepared for the climb. After reaching approximately 2.3 miles or so, we ate a late lunch and decided that it would take too much time to make the summit and decided to turn back. The snow wasn't all that deep, just tough going for my first serious climb since August. Will definitely be back again to finish what I started. |
