Ascent Trip ReportVery foggy, it had been raining and temps were in the 40's so got a mixed bag of conditions. Used snowshoes. Went up East trail. There are not a lot of red trail markers to follow. There was about 4 inches of very mushy snow, exposed creek beds with lots of water, some icy patches, mud, you name it. Some views from the tower when the wind moved the fog and clouds. Went down the North Trail, which was a bit more packed and less mushy and better marked with yellow markers. Some of the steeper sections were slick and I fell on my behind and slid for awhile. Saw the little statue of Mother Mary (I think that is who it is?) on the North Trail.
