Ascent Trip ReportDrove down Lost Horse Mine Road (dirt) off of Keys View Road. The dirt road was well maintained and suitable for a 2WD passenger sedan.
Hiked up the trail to the east of the parking lot (the southward trail is the longer loop trail), which is a continuation of the old road leading to the abandoned mine. Slightly past the mine, I followed the ridgeline to the summit. Signed the register and descended along the same trail to the car.
Most of the hikers were headed for the mine and not the summit.
