Ascent Trip ReportChristmas Day hike in the blizzard. We were going to hike Pierce but decided on Willard due to conditions. Very windy and cold at the base. Had to road walk a short way to the train station due to deep snow and unplowed area to park at the station. (Duh, Winter!) as soon as we got into the trees the wind subsided a bit and it was actually a nice snowy hike to the top. Started to “break Trail” with a few inches already down on the way up. No visibility or views at the top. An additional few inches already covering our tracks for the hike down. Overall super fun to hike in a blizzard with the dogs and Mike ??
