Ascent Trip ReportGetting to the trailhead was an adventure with the dirt road being rather rough. But beyond that, the trail was in good shape and easy to follow, even as it joined and left a fire road. Because of the length of the trail, the slope was moderate for almost the entire way (the exception was the "Upper Holy Jim Trail" - the section above the fire road that could be avoided by staying on the fire road).
The views on this trip were great (both on the trail and from the summit) with a wide variety of vegetation, both up close (at several points covering the trail with shade).
