|Date:||Saturday, July 10, 1976|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||9702 ft / 2957 m|
Ascent Trip ReportSeveral weeks after the first climb in June 1976 in rotten weather, we returned to climb it again so as to complete what we were calling the Aneroid Traverse. Previously we had climbed Aneroid from its north ridge in a raging June snowstorm, returning to our camp west of the saddle between Aneroid and Aneroid North. On this second climb we ascended to the saddle near Dollar Lake and climbed the SW ridge, then returned to Dollar Lake before traversing to Petes Point, and from there north over Point 9160 before descending to our camp along the East Fork Wallowa below Aneroid Lake.
