Ascent Trip ReportWe began the hike at 7:45PM and completed the 7 miles in about 7 hours, with about 6000 ft. or so of elevation gain. It was tough carrying 9 liters of water despite that we cached 2 liters within 4 miles of the hike. In hindsight, I should have only cached 1 liter or none since I ended up drinking all of my water and ran out. I know that I am a heavy water drinker. We camped on Villager and it was cold but not unbearable. There were 2 people with accents (one Irish, the other British), Ryan was leading his provisional I-rated hike and Mike D. was the co-leader. We kept a reasonably good pace.
