Ascent Trip Report

In pursuit of my "summer" Tupper Lake Triad: Mountain #3

After leaving Goodman Mountain's trailhead I drove to Arab Mountain. By now the skies had cleared and it had warmed up to about 30 degrees although the trail was quite icy.

I started hiking at 11:22 am and got to the summit at 11:46 am. Arab is the toughest of the Triad but is still pretty tame overall (about 700 feet of elevation gain). The trail is well constructed and marked and has a section that has has wooden steps.

The views from the firetower are impressive. The cabin was open and the windows could be opened.
