Ascent Trip ReportParked on Ellwood near Rt. 66 - only about 2 miles round trip - good maps online to help. Well marked route until you get near the top - at the end of the Alosta Canyon South Loop Trail, turn left, then a quick right to get to the top - pretty logical and intuitive when you get there. Kinda hazy today - views were so-so. Fun little hike, though. The South Fork trail starts up a cool little canyon, then switches back up to a ridge line. |
