Ascent Trip ReportThis hike was Meghan's first bushwhack. We ran into some stinging nettles along the way but I guess that is how it goes with a Catskill bushwhack in the summer. We saw a bear cub on the way up which was a first for Meghan (first live bear). Never did see the mother but I imagine she was nearby somewhere. It definitely took some backtracking and wandering to find the summit canister. |
