Ascent Trip ReportFrom Cliff Lake TH, we followed the trail annoyingly downhill for a couple hundred feet before heading uphill, ultimately to Cliff Lake. The cross country ascent is easy enough, there were many ducked routes and really you can just choose whatever route looks best without too much trouble. Nice area, I enjoy hiking through forests which this was for several miles at the beginning.
