Ascent Trip Report

Up and down standard trail for exercise and to set a quick time.

1:59 roundtrip (not including 10 minutes at the summit)

Ran all downhill sections, 50% of flat sections and probably a quarter mile of uphill. Knee and hip started getting sore on the hike back as usual, small blister formed on left big toe. Think that had something to do with my crappy socks. Lungs felt good except for a burning sensation near the bottom of my lungs. Never ran out of breath, overheated or had my heart-rate go too fast. Planned on hitting the summit in the dark after sunset, ended up finishing the whole hike before the sun went down. Feeling good about my fitness level. Pushed past pretty bad stomach pain today and went all out.
