Ascent Trip ReportTwo of us hiked the "QingCheng Hou Shan" area - a good loop 16.6 km, with a ~1,000m elevation gain. Best transportation to the trailhead is the fast (GaoTie) train from XiPu to QingChengShan station, then take minibus (it waits until full). The trail goes along a canyon (or actually inside it), very impressive labor work. Along the trail lots of food stalls, and also a few gondolas stations that can take you down. If you keep on going, you will have to cross a small stretch of water (CuiYin Hu)) on ferry boat (2 rmb), you must call phone (or yell) if the boat is on the other side. |
