Ascent Trip ReportHome temp was around 65 degrees F, got to the mountain to find it snow covered and in the high 30s to low 40s. Under prepared with food and warmth we went for it anyways, trudging 2.5 additional miles on pavement just to get to the head of the trail. Turned an expected fun hike into an extremely difficult hike both physically and mentally. |
