Ascent Trip Report

We followed the ridge line SE up from the saddle. On the east side there was no snow. The west side plenty of snow. We used the soft snow where it made sense and hit each false peak until we found the true peak. On the way down we made the mistake of trying the north slopes filled with large talus and snow. We would have made great time going down the NE direction down to the maintenance road but we thought the soft snow would allow a quick plunge step. I was wrong. The talus size became too large and the plunge steps became difficult was we had some nasty post holes around covered rocks. This was exhausting and a bit sketchy. It took an hour to get back to the main trail below. In hindsight we should have used the dry class 2 talus slope back to the main road or done Tigger as the upclimb but at the end of the day we tagged both Princeton and Tigger
