Ascent Trip Report

The trailhead for this hike is in the small town of Huta Lubycka. Google Maps had no trouble routing me there from Przeworsk. The road remains paved (although narrow). You park across from the OSP (Volunteer Fire Department). There is a sign and map for the park above where you park. There is also a map with the trails on it inside the fence of the Fire Department. The Parking is at approx. N50 18.679 E23 25.621.

From the parking area you need to find the red trail. Markers are a white rectangle with a horizontal red bar through the middle. The first is on the post of the yield sign of a road near the parking area. The trail follows the paved road past several farms before following two-track dirt road into the woods. You will stay with the red trail for a while. At N50 18.196 E23 27.092 the trail crosses a 4 way road intersection (the red trail goes straight). At N50 18.138 E23 27.364 the red trail comes out onto a curve a more substantial dirt road (and the blue trail). Turn left here leaving the red and joining the blue trail. We went straight and had to go through the woods.

Shortly after your turn onto the blue train at N50 18.192 E23 27.322 look for a use trail to the right. This will lead you shortly to a Russian concrete bunker you wrap around to the left (as you go uphill) before taking you to the summit. There is a numbered concrete post on the summit.

For additional see for another hiker's TR from Kragly Gora (it's in Polish but Google translate does ok).
