Ascent Trip Report

Left Boise about 5:30 and headed north on 8th Street into the Boise foothills. Road is well maintained for the first several miles. Gets steeper and rougher toward the top of the Boise Ridge. At the intersection on top, turn east and go about another mile, and the highpoint becomes visible to the left above the road. It is a short scramble up to the top where there is a summit cairn and register can. Topped out just after 6:00 p.m. as the clouds were clearing to reveal good views of Boise and the Treasure Valley below.
