Ascent Trip Report

A few notes:

1) I loved the terrain and views I would do this hike again
2) The parking can be a mess. I arrived around 9 AM and could park near the TH but on the way down later in the afternoon, the parking lot was full and cars were parked along the dirt road going back a half mile
3) Good dog hike; very popular hike and most people bring their pets
4) Difficult route finding scramble opportunities off the trail in many places but fun
5) the stairs up the tower is very interesting. Some exposure and great views; the tower is very interesting too
6) I found one of those crazy lady bug nests with hundreds of lady bugs just like you read about. It was on one of the rock near the peak by the chain link fence
