Ascent Trip ReportClimbed cross-country from the north from a road that was supposed to go to the peak. After taking FS road 9 from the west side of Yuba Pass, I missed the left turn at Chapman Saddle (4.4 miles) onto the road that leads to the trail. I tried to use a bad old car GPS to find the trailhead and had a grand tour of rough dirt roads all around the east, north and west sides (but not due south) of the peak. |
