|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
|Peak:||Kawartha Lakes High Point|
| Elevation:||1302 ft / 396 m|
Ascent Trip ReportFollowed Ben Lostracco's trail description up to this nice panoramic summit. Easy walk up the access road which starts at N44.12469 W78.63992.
After walking all over the summit area, I'll 2nd Ben Lostracco's conclusion that the highest point is the small pile of rocks beside the smaller tower array, which is the first tower I passed on my way up.
On our way down, we ran into one of the residents of the area who we briefly chatted to when we were looking for the access road. He was curious to our motives and we explained about the County High Points list. He mentioned that the top can be extremely windy and that certain utilities had inquired about building a wind turbine on his property near the summit.
