Ascent Trip ReportWent with my 11 year old niece Harley. We started shortly after 10:00. It took us just under an hour to get to the summit. This was with many stops along the way to admire our surroundings and for Harley to climb every big rock she could! The trail is very well marked and maintained. Bugs were not much of an issue. Views are great from the lookout to the left, just before the fire tower and amazing 360 views from the tower. I loved that there was pictures in the tower to show you which peaks you were seeing. We spent a lot of time talking about the different mountains and I was able to show her the ones I have climbed. Great hike for beginners or families with children! |
