Ascent Trip ReportThe GPX file below is for my ascent path only, the descent track can be found in my TR for Peak 7527.
This trip follows the Bear Creek Mountain Trail to start, then following class 2/3 ridge directly over Devils Horns and Tieton Peak. My descent track off of Tieton Peak was sketchy at best, class 3+ pebble scree on top of a hard surface, not recommended. After descending Tieton Peak I passed the lake at the terminus of the Conrad Glacier and used the Meade Glacier to attain the South Ridge of Gilbert Peak, from there easy scrambling leads to the top.
On the descent I followed most of the same route, except that I passed over Peak 7527 which was not previously logged in peakbagger, despite having 327' of prominence.
The statistics listed below are cumulative for both the ascent and descent.
